In 2009 and 2010 I trained in the welding program with a focus on Art Metals under the direction of Tom Gingras at Austin Community College. Since 2010, I have maintained a studio in Austin and participated annually in the Austin Studio Tour. I also show my work in the Art’04 Studio Tour. My Celebration Bouquet has been acquired for the City of Houston’s Civic Art permanent collection. As a member of the Texas Society of Sculptors and I was included in their 2024 exhibition at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. My art can be viewed in the homes of private collectors throughout the United States.
I have an MA in RTF from the University of Texas at Austin. My early work experience was as an audio engineer at NPR in Washington D.C. For thirty years I assisted in the production of jazz concerts and recordings for independent record labels in Austin, Washington D.C. and Europe
