Amy Scofield is a multi-disciplinary artist whose installations, sculptures, photographs and very short videos examine social and environmental issues. By employing natural or leftover man-made materials, she exposes human influence on nature, directly or through unconscious actions such as flagrant consumerism and waste. “Having been raised in the Colorado mountains during the Energy Crisis, by a family who valued imagination and science, my relationship to nature informs nearly everything I do”.
