David Ellis
Time-based multi-media painted sculpture & performance
In his artwork David Ellis explores the intersection of urban and rural land and mind-scapes music and kinetic flow. Employing a finely tuned improvisational style Ellis delivers visual compositions sound works and sequenced moving images that capture a singular search for connectivity within any given environment. Ellis's process is one of of self reflection debate and conversation with an ensemble of engineers writers artists and musicians resulting in immersive and multi-sensory experiences shared with audiences over the course of days and weeks.
David has dedicated himself to terraforming an alternate universe centered around a sonic time-based body of work entitled “The Rainy Suns”. Examples of which can be heard on all streaming platforms including Spotify, Youtube, and Instagram and experienced in person at a rare live performance in a gallery museum school or street corner near you.
