Throughout the weekend of May 3rd and 4th, we will open our studios to the public to share our work. The studios are located throughout the 78704 neighborhoods: Zilker, Bouldin Creek, South River City, Travis Heights, Barton Hills, South Lamar, Galindo, Dawson, and St. Edwards.

Botanical elements are a frequent theme in my collage art. Come see how I make unique collage papers using natural materials and a simple printing process.
Ann Armstrong: Sculptural Basket Weaving
Saturday & Sunday May 3 & 4,

Come sit in the grass under the cedar elms and do a little weaving with me! I'll provide reed and instruction on plain weave and twining techniques.
Fireseed Clay Art Studio: Ceramics Demonstrations

Visit Fireseed Clay Art Studios, home base to a variety of artists working in clay, including 8 artists on this year’s tour. Artists will be working on their projects and answering all your questions.

Nicole will demonstrate how she starts and finishes a large acrylic painting (in a single sitting!) inside her studio.

Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4, ongoing daily
Visit my studio and have your portrait taken. I will have a special set in place, and I’ll take your portrait (individuals or group) and print an 8x10 print from a digital file on site. I believe photographs are best when held in your hand; here’s a chance to take one with you. (And it’s free!)
