Art04 Studio Tour 2024
The artists in the 78704 neighborhood invite you to share in our process of art-making. Please join us where the magic happens!
Throughout the weekend of April 20 & 21, we will open our studios to the public to share our work. The studios are located throughout the 04 neighborhoods like Zilker, Bouldin Creek, South River City, Travis Heights, Barton Hills, South Lamar, Galindo, Dawson, and St. Edwards.

Austin’s phenomenal growth has caused many of our artists to struggle with the affordability of staying here. One of our solutions is to reach out for connections with our neighbors, to bring our work and our process to you.
This is about the art/creativity that made you want to move to Austin in the first place.

New for the 2024 Tour
Special Partner: Imagine Art Studio
This year the Art04 Studio Tour is partnering with Imagine Art Studio, a non-profit studio at 1701 Evergreen (Tour Stop 20) whose mission is “to leverage art and place; empowering artists with disabilities who become creative catalysts for changing systems of day habilitation; long-term care, peer support, and affordable housing.
The core services of Imagine Art are anchored in the arts, serving the needs of artists with disabilities by offering high caliber art services, which attract non-disabled artists. The result is an inclusive, creative community that demonstrates the power of creative place for transformation and change.

For 2024, several artists will be demonstrating their techniques and processes to visitors. This list will be growing so check back to see who’s offering demonstrations.

Come look over my shoulder as I compose an abstract mixed media collage using vintage, found, and hand-painted papers. I'll talk about composition, materials, inspiration, and sourcing interesting papers.
Fireseed Clay Art Studio: Ceramics Demonstrations
Tour Stop 1: 2309 Thornton Road, Studio O
Saturday & Sunday, 4/20-21 ongoing daily
Visit Fireseed Clay Art Studios, home base to a variety of artists working in clay, including 8 artists on this year’s tour. Artists will be working on their projects and answering all your questions.

Saturday & Sunday, 4/20-21 ongoing daily
Visit my studio and have your portrait taken! I will have a special set in place, and I’ll take your portrait (individuals or group) and make a digital 8x10 print on site. I believe photographs are best when held in your hand; I want you have one of your own.
